The Harvey One Room School House is open from April 1, until November 1. The Harvey School was one of many one room school houses in Crawford County during the 1800s and early 1900s. Our school has been restored to its original design and has many artifacts, replicas, and reproductions that visitors can handle. Students participate in actual lessons and games of the era and learn what life was like for rural children at the time Harvey School was in operation. Our goal is to help visitors of the Harvey School to improve their historical thinking as they handle artifacts, view maps, study photographs and take on the role of 19th century students. We want your visit to be educational and fun.
